How to Stay Aligned To your Goals Amidst a Full Life

In this blog, I will be sharing my story of how, by the Grace of G-d, I continue to achieve my goals amidst a full life.

When I first learned about goals and visions, I was very excited. I was so eager to move on! As a wife, and mother of young children, I, in any case, did not feel I was on top of it all. Life was all-consuming as it was, sans big plans.

I did honour my dreams though. It gave me a sense of purpose to all the fragmented urgent tasks required of me. And, after honing into a few core concepts, which I will share with you in this post, I got used to a mode-operandum that, gave me peace of mind and restored my lightness, and joy.

Here are the 3 concepts that formed my way of living in a full life, in line with moving forward towards my goals.

Larger Goals

If you find yourself stuck in the mundane day after day, it would be handy to find a few minutes and consider how these tasks relates to your goals.

Get this paradox. A woman comes to figure out her work/business goals. Invariably, other areas of her life will say "hi" and pop up in her mind's eye. And she invites them in. To her goal. Because. The Goal is larger than the business one. In fact, the entire business goal is a means to a divine end. A means to fulfilling your unique mission in this lifetime.

Let's look at all parts of your mission, and then, when events of the day unfold, you will see how that fits into your life mission, moving forward.

In short, expand your goals larger than business ones. And then incorporate the business goals into the larger one.

Faith

If you knew that you will be impacting many women in the way only you know how. If you knew you'd bring in your desired financial goal each month. If you knew all of this can integrate with your life, beautifully and harmoniously, then how would that affect today, right now. You'd make a move, right? Even a tiny one. Action is the graceful dance of faith, declaring and demonstrating, more than words, that you know this is happening.

80/20

Understanding that success happens, not by putting in the hours, but by the thought that precedes those hours. So here's your permission slip to relax, as you frantically keep up with the never-ending household tasks, or as you are forced to stop for a child - again. You will get the idea, the thought, when it strikes, and this will propel you forward.

In case you're wondering, the 80% is the thought. Thought takes place in an environment of distraction; at the kitchen sink, at your utility room as you fold and iron the laundry, or the like.

Ha, who ever thought, that cleaning your kitchen and cooking for your family, is actually part of the necessary hours you put into your business!
